Overview

Our academic courses are highly structured based on a core curriculum and MA state standards so our students are prepared for the state-mandated MCAS testing. At Blue Hills, we are committed to providing individual assistance to promote student success. In addition, our academic programs are designed to give our students the academic skills necessary to enter the world of work or a two- or four-year college or university. We offer a variety of courses and academic levels including a foreign language elective for students who require language coursework for college. Blue Hills’ instructors are highly qualified in their content areas.

A complete listing of academic classes and requirements can be found in the Program of Studies.

Blue Hills Regional Technical School offers a comprehensive academic program that operates on an alternating week schedule. Students participate in five full days of academic instruction alternating with five full days of vocational instruction throughout the school year.
